Commitment to Resolving the Climate Crisis, Hillcon Plants 2,300 Mangroves as an Effort to Carbon Absorption in DKI Jakarta

The planting of 2,300 mangroves in commemoration of Environment Day 2024 is a collaboration between PT Hillcon Tbk (HILL) with the DKI Jakarta City Parks and Forest Service and the DKI Jakarta Environment Service.

Director of PT Hillcon Tbk, Jaya Angdika said "This activity is a concrete manifestation of Hillcon's commitment to prioritizing Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) aspects in the company's business."

"We positively welcome PT Hillcon Tbk's initiative in efforts to mitigate climate change, especially in DKI Jakarta." said the Head of the Forestry Division of the DKI Jakarta Forestry Department in his speech. Head of the PSMDI Division of the DKI Jakarta Environmental Service added "This is the second activity carried out by Hillcon, where in the previous year Hillcon also took part in the Climate Village Program (PROKLIM), namely tree planting in Cipinang Melayu, East Jakarta. Hopefully it can continue in the year next" Environmental Specialist PT Hillcon Tbk said "This activity is expected to have a positive impact on climate improvement and also have a real impact on environmental restoration".
